RETURNS AND REFUNDS

AltoEdge is dedicated to providing a high level of customer satisfaction and service. All products and services sold are covered by manufacturers warranty and the AltoEdge money-back guarantee.

The AltoEdge money-back guarantee states that AltoEdge will provide refunds upon return of any item, sold, on the following terms:

Faulty Product

If a product you purchased from AltoEdge proves to be faulty or develops a fault within the warranty period it can be returned for a refund, replacement, or repair under warranty, depending on the nature of the fault.

Provided that the product proves to be faulty, and not damaged or otherwise interfered with after shipment, AltoEdge will also refund the original delivery costs in the case of a full refund, or will pay the cost of re-delivery in the case of warranty repairs.

If the product proves to not be faulty it will be returned to the purchaser and the cost of this re-delivery will be invoiced to the purchaser.

Unopened Product

If a product is returned unopened and undamaged within 14 days the purchase price will be refunded, less the delivery costs.

Downloaded Software-only Products:

Generally you will be entitled to a refund if the following apply:
  1. The software is demonstrated to be defective or not fit for its stated purpose, and
  2. Our technical support staff cannot provide a fix within 14 days.
We generally do not refund in these circumstances:
  • You changed your mind after downloading software, or opened packaged software.
  • Refunds of technical support plans on the basis that you did not need support.
  • Note: to assist customers in making the right purchasing decision, all software and hardware system requirements are clearly listed on the AltoEdge web site.

Hardware or Hardware & Software Packages:

We will refund hardware purchases or hardware & software package purchases in full if the hardware does not work with our software. However, for this full refund we require the following:
  1. That you read and understood the basic system requirements for the hardware or hardware & software package;
  2. That you have made reasonable attempts to get it to work; and
  3. Our technical support team are unable to provide a fix within 14 days.
  4. You must return the hardware within 30 days from the date of purchase. The hardware or complete hardware/software package (including packaging) must be returned in undamaged as-new condition.

Custom Built Products

Where a software or hardware product has been customized or custom built to suit purchaser requirements no refund will be available unless:
  1. The product is demonstrated to be defective or not fit for its stated purpose, and
  2. Our technical support staff cannot provide a fix within 90 days.

How to make a return

All we ask is that you email your refund request with the following information to returns@altoedge.com, and return the product in its original condition with its packaging. We will also need a copy of your order confirmation record and goods receipt.
